Building

siekman.io — just launched a complete rebuild. PHP, Markdown, no CMS. Adding content and polishing features weekly.

k3s homelab — expanding the cluster with proper GitOps using ArgoCD. Planning a full Prometheus/Grafana observability stack.

Domain marketplace — sourcing interesting .nl domains and building out the concept pages.

Learning

  • CKA prep — working toward the Certified Kubernetes Administrator exam
  • ArgoCD + Flux — comparing both for my GitOps setup
  • Rust — slowly, on the side

Reading

  • The Pragmatic Programmer — rereading for the third time
  • Various homelab and platform engineering blogs

Listening

Mostly podcasts while working: Changelog, Kubernetes Podcast, Darknet Diaries.

Not doing

  • Not taking on new freelance projects until Q2
  • Not migrating to a new tech stack (PHP is fine)
