All items go in bags from The Rat Pack by Orange Fire, a Dutch leather brand that has been making handmade bags in vintage style for more than 60 years.

Old Skool Dale - my everyday bag. A tough leather work bag with a 17" laptop compartment, three large pockets on top and denim lining. This is where the entire field kit goes.

Func 13" - When I go light. Compact handcarry for laptop and the basics, without the heavy network case.

The Note's Cognac - a hefty A4 leather folder from Orange Fire for documents and notes.

Telephone & communication

iPhone 17 Pro Max, 512GB - my everyday phone.

Apple AirPods Pro - always with me.

Nokia 105 (TA-1010) - a simple basic backup phone. Weeks on one battery charge, always works.

Tablet & laptop

iPad M2 Pro, 512GB - for on-the-go reading, note-taking and light tasks.

Dell Latitude 9430 - business laptop, 32GB RAM, 512GB SSD. Runs Arch Linux.

Wearables

Apple Watch Ultra 1 - always on.

Security

YubiKey 5C NFC - hardware key for 2FA, SSH authentication and GPG signing. Is always on my keychain.

Tools

Leatherman Free P4 - 21-in-1 multitool with magnetic lock so you open it with one hand. Always with me, always used.
